Ignorance is bliss

Is ignorance really bliss? Can one be free and yet ignorant? Experience says otherwise. In fact, the more we know the greater we value knowledge, as it’s only when you know something that you realise how confused you previously were. Google defines this phrase “If one is unaware of an unpleasant fact or situation one cannot be troubled by it.” Haha that’s a lie. If one does not know they have cancer, can they still not be troubled by it? If I don’t know I’m unwise, will that not cause me harm? Surely I would bear the brunt of ridicule if I speak as though I’m one of intelligence.

Truth grants liberty. Knowing the truth forces decisions and accountability. Be accountable to your decisions- be brave enough to discover the truth and it shall set you free. Remember, its only until you confront that you can spot deception.

These are exciting times indeed. I went to a Hans Zimmer concert; it was great, all I’d envisioned it to be. The seats were decent, the company I kept was better. The weekend followed in a similarly dynamic fashion, albeit much more soberly. This has been the theme for a few months now. Uncovering and confronting the truth can be a difficult process, particularly tiring in certain respects too.

Overall, I hope you don’t give up on the journey. Stay blessed and keep pushing.

To another week; tsl.
