Case Study One

A simple life to me is following a way of life that makes you at ease. A life that keeps your mind, spirit and soul free. Doing the things you love and have dreamt of doing.

Yes living a simplified life is the goal however sometimes adversities come in the way which makes living a little difficult but nothing is ever as straight forward as we would like.

A day in my life has been the same for many years.

I usually wake up 05:30-06:00, first thing I do is say my prayers for the day/week ahead. I ask God for guidance, protection & favour. I then get ready with a shower and brush my teeth so I can feel fresh. As I prepare breakfast I usually listen to anything to do with the MIND. I’m very big on the subconscious mind, I believe anyone who has a full understanding of the subconscious mind can conquer anything that is put in front of them due to discipline and routine. I then finish eating by 06:30 and I’m out the house 10 minutes later heading to football training.

After session one which is from 07:15-09:30 I’ll head home or go cafe with the guys. After cafe I’ll go to the gym and get home for 12:30. This is usually my time to relax after all the sessions I’ve had earlier on in the morning. I use this time to either watch games I’ve played, movies or tv shows.

During this time I would’ve had lunch which is a traditional dish I love called kenkey. It’s made from sweet corn dough that I have with spices and fish.

NAP TIME…

If it’s a Tuesday or Thursday I’ll most likely have a match or training in the evening so I’d prepare for that. Training in the evening starts from 19:30 so I’ll be done by 21:45 then head home. Time to sleep and follow the same routine the next day.

This is my simple life 🤌🏾

Key principles in life I feel are training your mind. I also think it’s important to listen and read things that’ll elevate you as a person.
